As a team, you will make a poster together on the musical era I have given you. Since a poster is a lot of work, we have divided the poster into different segments. I will grade you based on how you fulfill your portion of the poster as well as on how the whole poster looks together. You and your partner are responsible for everything I have bulletted if you want a B. For an A, I need to see work that goes A and B the C of D (above and beyond the call of duty).

Timeline: Zamira Baffield and Sha’Brea Lane

Your job is to compile a timeline of the most important dates in this era. You must include the following in your timeline to receive full credit.

• Start and end dates for the era.
• Why did the era start or end when it did?
• The birth and death dates of three composers from this era (talk to your buddies)
• The coronation dates of kings/queens from three different countries
• The start and end dates of 2 wars
• Draw the timeline

Your job is to research three main composers from this era. You must include the following information on the composers to receive full credit.

• Birth and Death dates
• Where did they live and where did they die?
• 2 famous works from each composer
• Describe their family life
• What instruments did they favor?
• One interesting fact about each
• Draw a picture of each composer or print one off

Your job is to research the styles and forms that composers used to make music. You must include the following on the instruments to receive full credit.

• Name three of the main musical themes that composers tried to convey in their music
• Name three musical forms that were popular in your era.
• Give an example of each. Be sure to include both title and composer
• Diagram the form into its musical parts using different colors.
